Survived By: Mother, Arlene Johnson; husband, Bruce Mager; Daughter, Stephanie Brewer, Daughter & son in law, Tabby and Steve Ragan; grandson, Ralph.

Linda was a really good friend. I met her in jr high. She lived in Hemet and I lived in Idyllwild. We both played clarinet in band. When we got to high school she joined the swim team, and later I did. She made varsity and was a great competitor. One of my fond memories was playing badminton for jr high PE class. We were partners. We did really well and won our final tournament. The prize was a badminton birdie glued to a canister and painted gold! She let me keep it. Mostly I remember her upbeat personality, kind heart and big smile. She was always smiling! She loved arts and crafts. She learned to paint and quilt. She was very proud of her family and loved them very much. After they moved to OK, my family visited when our kids were small. My last visit was 2 years ago with my husband and my mom. We were greeted with that beautiful smile I will never forget. I’m blessed to have been in her life and will miss her greatly.
