OCTOBER 14-15, 2022           THE 40TH REUNION CAME AND WENT BUT SO MUCH FUN!

We would like to thank our sponsors whose financial donations and gift giving allowed our reunion to be such a success. Jim Cheeseman, Cammie George (Mollard), Scott Gustlin, Judy Komives (Barron), Cindy Konecne (Ward), Jeannette Mars (Grismer), Jim and Faith Munson, Paul Rohrbacher, Vicki Wade (Curtin), and Mark Zerebny.  Also behind the scenes Debra Dyer (Lotman) helped arrange the Friday Meet and Greet, Cammie was our accoutant, David Bussey organized our jammin 80's play list and  even got some of us out there dancing.  Jeannette looked at venues early on with me and helped with Saturday's set-up, along with Becky Leath (Shoji), her husband Jay and Bruce and Andrea Ceniceros. Anita Chalk (Reber) and her husband Eric also were out there in the rain on Saturday night, doing basically whatever needed to be done, table setting, parking directions, water sweeping and quickly got us under a dry tent, along with Todd Ward. Thanks to the zoom participants early on that gave input and direction to your planning committee. Unfortunately, the unexpected last minute tent cost used our remaining funds, so no money was left for a scholarship donation to the school.

This started as a simple enough question, "Are we having a 40th" and off to Facebook we went and the result was very positive and so here we are wondering about the next step. It's important for us all to keep this site updated, so if anyone moves don't forget to change your profile address, new email?? the same. The biggest time consumer was trying to find people, so keep encouraging those missing people to sign up on our class site. It will be active for at least the next 10 years to make any other reunions easier to plan. Plus some of you did not complete your profile questions, it would be nice if you did. I know for myself I did not get a chance to talk to everyone and I enjoy seeing where your life has taken you.

Thanks to all who came, I agree with all the Facebook posts, "Fun times were had by all".  "To be with old friends is very warming and comforting." Ian Ziering

Hope to see you all next time plus some more

The Hemet Sportsman Club who sponsored the bar had a glitch and did not have their square for credit card payment at the Saturday night event, so for anyone that wanted to send them compensation who had an alcoholic drink but no cash please send a check to Hidden Hacienda 42174 Little Lake Rd, East Hemet, CA 92544. Checks made out to Hemet Sportsman Club, remember they are a non profit and help financially support local student athletes.
